Las Cancelas is a small hotel, in a older inn of fifteenth century, located in the history city centre of Ávila,
Our views are privileged, as we are next to The Walls and the Cathedral to the Savoir
It is a cozy hotel with 14 rooms, all of them decorated in a Castilian style. On the top floor, the rooms have sloping ceilings.
We have double and triple rooms where you can spend a few days off rest or work. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating and satellite TV.
Since we are in the area within the walls, we are very close to all historical and administrative buildings, without having to take the car to get around, enjoying a leisurely stroll.
The entire building is made of stone, retaining part of the original structure.
We have a restaurant and bar, where our guests can taste typical tapas from Avila and other typical products.

Really good hotel, with nice accomodations, service and breakfast. Nice location within the city walls and close to main attractions. It has parking with space for various cars.

Get your chuleton steak here and throw in some lamb chops to complete your meat induced coma. The steaks are what Avila is famous for and Las Cancelas serves the best. The garlic soup is good for a cold day, and the lamb chops will have your sucking the

Its not a 4 star hotel, but for the price the closeness to Cathedral and other sites service cleanliness and family feeling its my favorite place to stay !

Great food, great Avila's meat, very good location but not for all budgets. With wine would cost around 35 to 40 easy.

Lovely back dining room. Beautiful. Good food. Huge servings. Efficient staff. Try the fried milk dessert. The white asparagus was unbelievable. I've never seen such thick asparagus. Salad was delicious. Veal in rum sauce was great.
