Sunrise Holidays Resort Adults Only

It was My first time on All Inclusive. And basicly it was All right, but only All right.
Checking in was very easy and the introduction to the place was thorough and frindly.
The room was fine and they were willing to clean it up whenever it woul fit me.
My main problems with the place is the food, the fact that there are shops inside the hotel and the evening entertainment.
The karaoke based sing allong that is going on in the outside bar at night is just plain bad.
The shopkeepers are pretty outgoing and the people from the water pipe bar will not lave you alone. I found that very annoying, because whenever you lave the hotel you will not be left alone by people trying to sell cheap crap, so it would be nice if it did not take place in the hotel.
Finally the food. Much of the food is all right, it is in no way a health risk. Mostly it is just boring. The main Resturant, El Sol, does different themes based on different contries cousine every night. But it is almost impossible to see how that manifests. There were one evening where the desserts were different, but that was about it. The main problem is that the food is seasond so little that everything tastes more or less the same. Most is cooked far too long. If you then go to the a la carte restaurants you will find that nothing is made a la carte and is basicly the same as in El Sol. Two times, during a weeks stay, did I leave one off the a la carte restaurants because what i was served had All the above mentioned problems. I had camelstake at the resturant where you have to pay and that was fine, but then you get knorr sauce and that can allmost spoil any good meal.
The staff will come and ask you if everything is all rigt, but allmost none of them speaks good enough english to have a meaningfull conversation. Because of that it does not make sense to complain.
My final experince with the hotelstaff made me a bit mad. I was asked to fill out a piece of paper, rating my experince. He wanted me to do it at the front desk whilst he was looking and they did not have a pen i could borrow. When i rated my over All experince as 8 out of ten, which i found rather generous, he asked me to change it or fill out a new form because "eight is not good in Egypt"
I guess it is the same in many of the other hotels in Hurghada. There was a night with sublime grilled pieces of chicken in El Sol, the drinks were fine and there were No kids. So all in all it was all right, but not more than all right.
