- 4My opinion about this hotel Radisson Blu AmsterdamJames - Jan 19, 2015
We were disappointed with the level of service at this Radisson after staying at a number of different ones.
There was no milk for tea/coffee facility in our room and when requested were told that it would be powdered and if we wished fresh we would have to pay extra. That is not acceptable for the level of hotel we expected.
During our meal in the restaurant we had to wait for over an hour for our second course. The staff apologised and offered us a free drink. (One was accepted!)
On returning to our room one day at about 4 p.m. we found it hadn\'t been made up so told the manager who got it done and by way of apology offered us a free drink and said there would be something in the form of recompense left in the room - a plate with about six chocolate biscuits!
In my opinion, a free drink as recompense is not satisfactory as not everyone drinks and indeed only one drink was accepted from these offers. I was not impressed with the manager\'s attitude either.
First time ever that I have had to complain in writing about a Radisson and I won\'t be going back to that one as a result.
