I was a little worried when I booked this hotel given the very low price for a hotel in Liverpool which even included breakfast. However I needn\'t have worried as this place was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and can\'t do enough for you. We had booked a basic \'cabin\' room but there was nothing basic about it. The room was a very good size with quality fixtures and fittings and the bed was one of the most comfortable I\'ve slept on in a long time.
In many hotels that offer a free breakfast in this price range it usually ends up as a free for all getting food or a table. This wasn\'t the case here with the breakfast room being large enough to accommodate all guests wanting to eat even at busy periods. The amount and selection of hot and cold food on offer cannot be faulted. It was tasty, freshly prepared and the staff were quick to replenish anything that ran out.
Finally there is the on-site car park which is free for guests to use. There is no other hotel in the city centre that offers this.
My only criticism would be the noisy guests in the corridors that had little consideration for others when returning to their rooms from numerous Xmas parties at all hours. But there is little the hotel can do about that.
Overall an excellent stay and I will certainly be using this place on my next stay in the city. :D

Very convenient to the city centre. Hot breakfast very good when cooked fresh on a Saturday. Unfortunately appears to be a buffet for the other 6 days. The chef (Trevor) at breakfast was an asset to the hotel, a thoughtful gentleman. Double room was clean and tidy. Didn\'t eat other meals at hotel so unable to comment on quality. Would stay again here.
