Built in 2002, the beach hotel comprises a total of 776 rooms spread over 52 floors, of which 12 are suites.
The luxurious hotel has a pleasant foyer, a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and lifts.
There is also a hairdresser, a games room, a TV room and a nightclub. In addition, guests are provided with an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs for infants.
Business guests may also make use of the wireless Internet connection as well as the conference room. Laundry and room services are available as well as medical assistance.

The hotel should not be credited with 4 stars. Service is non existent, especially in the restaurants and bars. The hotel has two restaurants both of which seat approx. 850 guests. I counted only 4 waiters in one restaurant - they have to take orders for drinks, clean and relay tables. One had to wait at least 40 minutes for a wine order. The cooked food was completely cold. Tables were left with used crockery. A complaint was made to a person parading in the restaurant who appeared to be a member of management - his response was simply that the hotel catered for a vast number of clients. The solution to the problems is simple - the larger the hotel the more staff require to be employed. The same lack of service was applied in the bars - again no waiter service at all. I booked demi-pension for 5 nights and only ate in the restaurant twice. On the second occasion adults were eating from the children\'s buffet. The bedrooms were O.K. and clean and the facilities i.e. the pool area were fine but apart from that service was non existent especially in the restaurants. The hotel also lacked an à la carte restaurant. A complaint was made to reception and the response was "Please put your complaint in writing for us to add to the huge pile of complaints that we already have:" 1 star would be sufficient for this hotel.

The hotel was good in every way, except the food. There was plenty of selection but the preperation of the dinners mostly were disgusting. It wasn\'t that it wasn\'t to a British palate. There were many Spanish guests very discontented with the quality as well.
