My opinion about this hotel Cristoforo Colombo
    - 17 May, 2015

We booked for a short city break to visit Rome. Once we had worked out the local transport then getting to the centre and back was not a problem however did think it was a little closer. The hotel its self was reasonably comfortable, the rooms which are in some need of redecorating are kept clean and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The was plenty to choose form for breakfast, but there is not a lot of choice if you are booking half board which we are grateful we didn\'t, we did however eat in the hotel on the first evening then we found that we had to find another restaurant to eat as the hotel food was not edible (microwave meals), we were thankful for the shopping centre next door which has a number of restaurants and as there is nothing else close by if you don\'t have a car this is your only option but be warned there are no bars and it closes promptly at 10 pm. Should you think about going further a field without a car please be aware that the metro to Eur Fermilia (the line required) stops running at 10 pm after which you will either need to get a taxi or find out the bus services which will take approx 1.5 hours from the centre of Rome, 2 buses then a 15 minute walk from the nearest terminal.
